The recognized party line of both EA Games and Respawn Entertainment is that TitanFall 2 remains officially unannounced. However, executives from both companies love to talk about it. That was definitely the case during yesterday’s presentation by EA CFO Blake Jorgensen at the Stifel Technology, Internet & Media Conference.
During the course of his speech, Jorgensen said that EA will “probably” publish another TitanFall game and that it’ll “probably” appear on multiple consoles:
“Last year [TitanFall] was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven’t yet announced, but we’ll probably have another TitanFall game. It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that’s a huge positive for us.”
Though Jorgensen qualified it by saying “probably” several times, EA already revealed to investors back in May that they struck a deal with Respawn to create “new Titanfall experiences.” So TitanFall 2 is definitely coming and I think it’s almost a certainty at this point that it’ll be available for the PS4 in addition to the Xbox One (and probably the PC).
