All Articles: Batman: Arkham Knight
Game Critics Awards has announced their Best of E3 2014 nominees
The Best of E3 2014 nominees are in, and Evolve is currently leading the pack with six nominations (Best of Show, Best Original Game, Best Console Game, Best PC Game, Best Action Game, and Best Online Multiplayer). The rest of the Best in Show games all have multiple nominations as well – Alien: Isolation, Batman: Arkham Knight, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, No Man’s Sky, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. After all the attention it’s gotten, I’m surprised Sunset Overdrive isn’t on that list, but it’s on a few others.
Check out the full list of nominees after the jump.
Continue Countdown #5 – Mortal Kombat X, Forza Horizon 2, Pre-E3 Predictions, More
It’s the most wonderful time of the year as the 2014 E3 Expo is right around the corner. The Warp Zoned staff spent a recent night chatting about some of the big pre-E3 announcements during the latest episode of “Continue Countdown.” We pre-pre-judged Mortal Kombat X, Homefront: The Revolution, Forza Horizon 2, BattleCry, Battlefield Hardline, and Hyrule Warriors in the first six segments of the show.
But we also wanted to worry and fret over a trio of delayed games (Batman: Arkham Knight, The Order: 1886, and Quantum Break) as well as speculate about what a Smash Bros.-style Mario Kart game would be like (spoiler alert: it would be AWESOME). And the eternal question (How much would you pay for an E.T. cartridge excavated from a landfill?) was answered.
Finally, we slipped a few E3 predictions in there. We’re probably way off the mark, but it’s that magical pre-E3 time when anything seems possible.

Prepare yourself… Batman: Arkham Knight release delayed to 2015
Here we go again. WB Games and Rocksteady Studios have confirmed that Batman: Arkham Knight won’t be released this Fall as previously planned. Instead, Rocksteady’s final Batman game will be released sometime in 2015 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Even with the delay, WB Games plans to heavily promote Batman: Arkham Knight during next week’s E3 Expo. Specifically, the publisher will give the world a glimpse of Batmobile Battle Mode for the first time. With the flick of a switch, Batman can transform his Batmobile from a sleek roadster into a fully-armored battle tank. Armed to the teeth with lasers, missiles, and incendiary rounds, the Batmobile’s Battle Mode will be able to take on anything The Riddler can think up. You can get a preview of the Batmobile in Battle Mode in the teaser trailer embedded above.
And don’t worry, even in Battle Mode, Batman will uphold his “no killing” pledge.
