Today marks the first day that Nintendo’s 3DS Ambassador Program goes into effect. I woke up this morning, opened my 3DS and immediately looked for the games that were promised to me, feeling upset when I saw no updates on the eShop. Well, here at Warp Zoned, getting your games as quickly as possible is a staple belief of ours. That’s why we’ve taken a literal 30 seconds to help you find your games in less than 30 seconds. The list of NES games available is included below.
If you purchased a 3DS system before August 12, here’s what you’ve gotta do:
1. Turn on your 3DS. (I tried it when it was off, it doesn’t work.)
2. Head to the eShop.
3. Scroll all the way to the left side, to the “Settings/Other” pane.
4. Click on “Your Downloads” – (the third brick down.)
5. Scroll past all the other titles you’ve purchased (if any, you cheapskates!)
6. You’ll find the free Ambassador titles waiting for you! (You have to click “Re-Download” to obtain them.)
Only NES games will be available today. Nintendo states that GBA titles will be released before the end of 2011. Download the “Ambassador Certificate” in addition to the NES games for updates on when the GBA games are added.
And here’s the full list of NES titles available to download for 3DS Ambassadors:
1. Super Mario Bros.
2. Metroid
3. The Legend of Zelda
4. Wrecking Crew
5. NES Open Tournament Golf
6. Donkey Kong Jr.
7. Balloon Fight
8. Ice Climber
9. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
10. Yoshi
