There are a few really great titles silently creeping up on us, and we’re pretty excited about them here at Warp Zoned. At least, some of us are! The rest of us are looking forward to digging into our backlogs these next few hot weeks. Read on to see what we’re excited about!

The Summer is almost over (and the real fun can begin), but I think I’m most looking forward to Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition. My aversion to PC gaming ensured a pass on the Reaper of Souls expansion when it was first released in the Spring. But my Monk is ready and I definitely plan to dive in now. I’m also slightly intrigued by Metro Redux. I skipped the Metro games when they were originally released, but after hearing how atmospheric and moody they are for the millionth time, I might actually give them a shot.

I am super excited about InFamous: First Light, which looks amazing! I finished the game itself way too fast, and I’m eager to hop into some (standalone) DLC. I’m also really looking forward to Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, though I still have more than a few games to catch up on in both series!Metrico and Hohokum are two lovely games I saw at IndieCade East, and I’m really looking forward to playing those as well. Not too bad for what should be the quiet month of August!

Although I have never played the original, I’m very drawn to the cinematic look of Tales of Xillia 2. It may have to go on the play list if I ever manage to buy the first entry.
Mostly, August looks like the month I’m finally going to get through my backlog.

I agree with Andrew; August looks to be pretty silent. There’s only two titles I am looking forward to. InFamous: First Light is definitely at the top of my list – although I need to start playing InFamous: Second Son first. The next game is Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition. I’m still debating whether or not it’s worth the purchase, seeing as though I already own the Xbox 360 version, but with the added features, it looks like a good idea. Other than that, it’s back to the backlog!
