Bethesda showcased three character classes from BattleCry in a second gameplay trailer of the game released during this year’s PAX Australia expo.
“The Enforcer” is, not surprisingly, a melee character with the most hit points. He will carry a large sword that can also transform into a durable shield. I gotta admit, that is pretty cool. “The Tech Archer” delivers death from above with a long-range bow and other projectile weapons. However, she is vulnerable in up-close combat. Finally, “The Duelist” is a stealth melee character that also has “some of the lowest hit points in the game.” But his fanciful mustache should count for something, right? Other planned classes includes “The Brawler” and “The Gadgeteer,” we’ll likely learn more about these character types in a future video.
BattleCry’s beta will begin in 2015 in Australia and New Zealand before opening up to players throughout the rest of the world.
