The folks working the counter at Nintendo’s eShop aren’t taking the day off and have laid out a bountiful Thanksgiving spread of nearly a dozen new games.
This week, the Persona series comes to the 3DS for the first time as Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is now available for Nintendo’s handheld. The portable system is also now home to Mighty Gunvolt, a retro-styled side-scrolling shooter from Inti Creates, one of the developers behind the upcoming Mighty No. 9.
Indie platformer Thomas Was Alone will make its Wii U debut this week alongside a few classics from Nintendo’s earlier eras including Mario Pinball Land and Mighty Final Fight (also available for the 3DS)

Thomas Was Alone – In this indie platformer, guide a group of sentient rectangles through a series of environments, combining their skills to reach the end of each level. Mario Pinball Land – A day at the funfair has turned into a rolling adventure for Mario. After he is transformed into a ball, Mario must collect stars across five different worlds as he unlocks a path to Bowser’s castle and saves Princess Peach from the evil Koopa’s clutches!
Mighty Final Fight – The Mad Gear Gang has kidnapped the mayor’s daughter, and now the mayor is going to show them who’s boss! Join Haggar, Cody and Guy as they uppercut, kick and bash their enemies into the ground in five intense levels of hard-hitting action!
Shiny the Firefly – This adorable game, set in the middle of a picturesque garden, has you helping Shiny, the cute little firefly, to find his babies. You’ll have to fly, run, hide and defend yourself against a legion of enemies. Stubborn mosquitoes, hungry toads, mischievous plants, sneaky wasps, endlessly long centipedes and lots of other little, dangerous garden dwellers are going to get in your way and make your life difficult.
Heptrix – Like the famous falling blocks game but with seven blocks each piece.
GetClose – GetClose is a local multiplayer game for two or four players that forces you to share a Wii U GamePad and Pro Controller for competitive arcade action. Players take control of a single Star Kid who must capture the Cosmic Crown to become victorious.

It’s a pixelated adventure you can really sink your teeth into! (Available November 28)
