Last night’s Game Awards celebrated the year’s best new experiences while also giving us a very interesting glimpse at the future of gaming. But there’s still a handful of new releases to talk about today, and they’re now available to download from the Xbox Games Store.
Ubisoft’s Steep brings players to the very top of the mountain and then gives them four ways to get down: Skiing, Snowboarding, Paragliding, or Wingsuiting. The open world game is now available to download for the Xbox One and the publisher promised that “the mountain is yours to explore.”
Also newly available for the Xbox One today is The Dwarves, an RPG from THQ Nordic based on the novel of the same name by Markus Heitz. According to the publisher, The Dwarves will includes 15 playable characters, a strong story, and tactically challenging real-time battles.
Finally this week, Stern Pinball Arcade will attempt to recreate classic tables on the Xbox One including Star Trek Vengeance, Last Action Hero, and Starship Troopers; and Furi is a twin-stick with boss design by Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai).
