A quartet of new games are now available to download through the Xbox Games Store for the Xbox One.
Fans of SNK and the NeoGeo might be interested in Metal Slug, the first entry in the company’s famed side-scrolling shooter franchise; and Nam-1975, an overhead shooter that takes place in the waning days of the war.
Eekeemoo: Splinters of the Dark Shard is also available to download today… it’s a third-person adventure game where players “solve puzzles, complete tasks, and battle monsters.” And finally, Bloons TD 5 is a tower defense game that’s now available for the Xbox One after previous stops on the PC, iOS, and Android.

Metal Slug is the original entry in one of the most famous action game series ever released. It was originally released by SNK in 1996. Players control Marco and Tarma who belong to the Special Forces team known as the “Peregrine Falcon Squad.” They fight to defeat General Donald Morden, in an effort to take back their stolen weapon known as the Metal Slug. Players can utilize various weapons and vehicles such as the Metal Slug to sway the fight in their favor. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time.Nam-1975
Nam-1975 is an action game released by SNK in 1990. It was one of the first ever games released on NeoGeo! Players will take on the role of U.S. Special Forces soldiers braving a harsh battlefield as they try to survive a series of deadly firefights.
