It’s election day here in the United States! I woke up at 6 AM so I could perform my civic duty, and now I’m exhausted. I’m also teaching tonight, but afterwards, I can go home and relax and play some video games! After I listen to the election results, of course.

This weekend was Metatopia, our last event of the year! I’m happy and, to quote Jon Gilmour, my hugmeter is full. It was an amazing few days and I loved it but I’m also so glad it’s over and we get time to recouperate!

I am off to another event this weekend to playtest lots of games! I’m hoping to still sneak in some Pokemon Go and maybe, just maybe, a little Pokemon Picross. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see! I also just got World of Final Fantasy in the mail. Think anyone will notice if I bring my PlayStation 4 with me to the hotel?

One of these days, the Daily Scoop will actually be daily again! I was feeling under the weather yesterday and was lax on my responsibilities. But I did play some Pokemon Picross and caught up some more on some television, so that’s worth something, right?

I’m super excited to be holding a copy of Titanfall 2 in my hands right now! It’s hard to type while holding it, but I just can’t put it down. I can’t wait to dive into this single player campaign!

There’s lots of cool stuff on sale at the Humble Store! Soma is $11.99, Through the Woods is $17.99, and The Secret World: Ultimate Edition is $20.39. They’re also doing a cool new thing called “Happy Hour,” where they offer a game for free for a week. I know I talked about the Pokemon Go Halloween update yesterday, but seriously, this candy event is amazing! I just hatched a Chansey (finally!) and I am walking my Dratini as my buddy. There are so many great Pokemon around to catch, too. I hope they do events like this more often!

There are so many great games out right now, but I’ve been so busy that I’ve just got a little pile next to my television that tortures me every night.
