I had a great gaming weekend! I really enjoyed the Overwatch beta, and even got to spend some time playing both Fallout 4 and Hotline Miami 2. I also got tons of work done, but the game time was a much-needed break!

It’s finally Friday! Hooray! There are so many games I want to play this weekend. I have so many plans that involve my couch! It’s too exciting.

Anyway, let’s talk about game deals! There are lots of games on sale at the Humble Store, including Jotun for $8.99, The Escapist – Humble Deluxe Edition for $6.11, Endless Legend – Classic Edition for $11.89, and Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin for $19.99.

The Weekend Deal at Steam is EVE Online, which you can play for free until Sunday. If you want the Core Starter Pack, that’s $4.99, and the Premium Edition is $24.99. You’ll also save up to 27% on a subscription. The Daily Deal is Left 4 Dead 2, which is $4.99.

I’ve been meaning to pick up a few games but I haven’t been home long enough the last few days to grab them! Hopefully tonight I’ll have time to nab Shadow Complex Remastered and Alienation. So many games, so little time!

Speaking of so many games, there’s an awesome spring sale happening at the Humble Store that is full of goodies. Tabletop Simulator is $9.99, Outlast is $4.99, Darkest Dungeon is $18.74, and Sir, You Are Being Hunted is $1.99. They’re also having tons of publisher sales, including one for Square Enix and one for Bandai Namco.

Steam is having a huge Devolver Digital sale. Enter the Gungeon is $13.49, Broforce is $5.99, and the combo pack for both Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is $4.99. Steam’s Weekend Deal is all about the Dead Island franchise. The best deal is the full Dead Island Collection, which includes Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition, Dead Island Riptide, and the Riptide DLC. The Daily Deal is Deathtrap, which is on sale for $6.79.

I haven’t had a chance to pick up Battleborn yet, but I’d like to at some point. Right now I’m just trying not to think about the fact that it’s not May 10th, and I don’t have Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in my possession yet. I’m so excited for it that I’m actively trying not to remember it’s almost here!

There’s a new bundle at Humble – the Humble Mobile Bundle 18. Pay $1 or more for Freeze! 2 – Brothers, Evoland, and Adventures of Poco Eco. Oh, and in case you didn’t realize it, today is Star Wars Day! And Steam is celebrating with a special May the 4th Be With You sale. They have tons of Star Wars games on sale, with plenty of bundles, including the Star Wars Collection. Pay just $22.99 for Dark Forces, Knights of the Old Republic, The Force Unleased – Ultimate Sith Edition, The Force Unleashed II, Battlefront II, Empire at War – Gold Pack, amd Jedi Knight – Dark Forces II. Whew. That’s a lot of Star Wars! The Daily Deal is Zombie Driver HD, which is on sale for $1.99.

We’re down to the wire now – just one more week until the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. I’m beyond excited!

Beat the average to unlock three games that I am absolutely in love with – Mini Metro, Mushroom 11, and the incredible Towerfall Ascension. Finally, pay $10 or more to unlock Evoland 2. You also get a coupon for 10% off Humble Monthly.

Elsewhere on the Humble site, three new games were added to the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle today. Beat the average to unlock Swords & Soldiers II (Wii U), Nano Assault EX (3DS), and Runbow (Wii U).

This final weekend of April was amazing! I officiated a wedding on Friday night, and then on Saturday, we had a big event at Redcap’s Corner for International Tabletop Day. It was our fifth and final gaming event of the month! April, you were awesome, but I’m not sad you’re over.

Last night, I finally did it – I got the Platinum Trophy in Persona 4 Golden! It felt amazing. I had just one boss fight left, and it was harrowing. But now it’s done and I never have to play it again! Wait… actually, that’s kind of sad. I guess now I have to figure out other ways to not think about Persona 5!
