This weekend was absolutely incredible! We went to Cipher Prime’s awesome art show on Friday night, then I had book club Saturday during the day, then we went to a Carnival-themed birthday party Saturday night, and on Sunday, we played board games all day long at a friend’s house. I mean really all day – more than 12 straight hours. It was glorious! I played Codenames, Troll, Hula Hippos, Body Boggle, Adventure Time Fluxx, and a few super-secret prototypes. It was a total blast!

But now it’s time to get back to reality. Which means it’s time for me to talk about deals! Over at Humble, there’s the brand new Humble Mobile Bundle: Kemco. It’s Friday, WOO! I’ll be spending the evening alongside other indie devs at the Cipher Prime Art Show in Olde City later today. If you’re local to Philadelphia, come check it out! It should be amazing.

The Humble Store has some new sales today, including Broforce for $10.04, the recently released Mushroom 11 for $13.49, and Paint the Town Red for $8.49.

I’ve been trying to set aside some time for gaming the last few days, but it just hasn’t been working out. I’m hoping to get some done tonight, but we’ll see about that! There’s just always too much to be done…

It’s a beautiful day here in Philadelphia, and all I want to do is go home and curl up with a good video game! I haven’t picked up Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection yet, but I’m so, so tempted. I really want to see them all remastered, and I especially want to replay the second one, which is my favorite. Maybe I’ll pick it up soon! We’ll see. I also just found out there are BioShock Funko Pops and I’m currently inconsolable.

I had an amazing weekend, Internet! I was the officiant at my sister’s wedding on Friday, and it was lovely. Then I took Saturday to do absolutely nothing at all. Anthony and I played some video games, listened to some podcasts, and just chilled out. We even watched a movie! Then we got back to work yesterday. I’m off from my day job today, so I got some more work done today as well. All in all, it’s been an amazing four-day weekend!

Speaking of amazing, you have less than 24 hours to pick up the Humble Indie Bundle 15! If you already love Gang Beasts, just go straight for the higher tiers that give you physical figures. Otherwise, pay the $10 to get the game and be awestruck!

Last night, we had a group of friends over to see if we could resurrect our old Blood Bowl board game league. It went really well, and afterwards, we played Codenames, which might be my favorite game right now. We went to bed late and I’m exhausted, but it was definitely worth it!
