This weekend was super fun, but I didn’t get anywhere near as much done as I needed to! Nor did I play many video games at all. I did, however, play a ton of board games! And that was a great time. I have tons of making up to do this week, but hopefully I can sneak in some video gaming at some point!

Anyway, let’s talk about deals! There’s a Zombie Week sale happening at the Humble Store, and it’s loaded with great games! Pick up Telltale’s The Walking Dead for just $6.24 per season. It’s been a really long week of working and doing homework, and I’m ready for the weekend! We have a game night tonight, and a party tomorrow, and brunch Sunday, and I’m hoping in there somewhere I can start the Dishonored DLC. I guess we’ll just have to see!

I promise, one of these days I’m going to play video games again! Last night it was homework, more homework, catching up on some television for a hot second while I ate some dinner, and then… you guessed it. Homework! Hopefully I’ll get a little downtime this weekend, but I’m not optimistic.

Last night, I had a fun board game night at my place! We played Herbaceous, Looting Atlantis, and Paperback. I’m a sucker for spelling games, so Paperback was a ton of fun! I can’t wait to play it again.

I played a bunch of games yesterday, including Magicka 2, which is just so absurd sometimes that I can’t even deal with it. I’m also trying to figure out if I want to play the Dishonored DLC now that I’ve beaten the main game, or move on to another game. Decisions, decisions!

Speaking of decisions, there are some game deals today that might call for some decisions! There’s a Codemasters Winter Sale happening at the Humble Store. Dirt Rally is $23.99, Grid 2: Reloaded Edition is $12.49, F1 2014 is $7.49, and Overlord is $1.24, among others.

There are some great deals happening at Steam as well. I had a super amazing time this weekend! Some friends came over and we played a lot of local multiplayer video games together. We started off with four-player Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, then moved on to some Towerfall: Ascension, and ended the night as so many have ended: with a little Super Pole Riders! It was amazing.

We played a ton of games last night during our game night, including a bunch I had never played before! It was super fun. I think my favorite for the night was Cat Stax, which is an incredible little puzzle game with cats. It reminds me a lot of some of my favorite Professor Layton puzzles!
