Santa has lightened his load and delivered presents with care. And publishers released new consoles for gamers in a pair. There was so much to play in December that we just had to share. We tried to sample it all… from Mario’s latest quest to reach the Flag Pole to Rockstar’s trio and everything they stole. WZ Year in Review: The Most Popular Articles of 2013
With 2013 officially in the books, I think it’s safe to say that it was a year that will go down in infamy among gamers. The Xbox One launched and gamers were still debating whether Microsoft’s scrapped game licensing policy was a good idea. The PS4 also launched and while it didn’t have a so-called “killer app,” it received a much warmer response. The Wii U continued to chug along the track, but most third party publishers (except for Ubisoft and the indies) seemed to get off.

The Games of December 2013
Two next-generation console launches have come and gone. Thanksgiving has come and gone. Black Friday has come and gone. All the games that will be released in 2013 are now available… not so fast! Warpback: What We Played in November 2013
Here at Warp Zoned, we played a ton of games in November! Ranging from old games to new, and old systems to new, we clocked a lot of time with controllers, keyboards, and handhelds. And all those crazy holiday deals dumped even more games onto our plates! We laughed, we cried, we used voice commands on our new PlayStation 4s… we did it all. They’re finally here. Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One will be available on store shelves this month. Have you been saving your pennies to purchase a next-gen console on day one? Or did the fizzy fast food fairy gift you with a free one? While you probably spent last night gorging on candy and spooky movies, the month of October was a bit of a slow one for games. That’s because two new consoles are right around the corner. They’re getting closer and closer. You can almost feel them watching you. Waiting to report on your every movement to the men in dark suits and even darker sunglasses.
