It’s a beautiful day here in Philadelphia, and all I want to do is go home and curl up with a good video game! I haven’t picked up Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection yet, but I’m so, so tempted. I really want to see them all remastered, and I especially want to replay the second one, which is my favorite. Maybe I’ll pick it up soon! We’ll see. I also just found out there are BioShock Funko Pops and I’m currently inconsolable.

There are some new games on sale right now at the Humble Store. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is $13.49, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is $6.66, and Curse of the Crescent Isle DX is $2.99.

The Midweek Madness at Steam is the Stealth Game Sale. There are tons of great titles to choose from, including Outlast for $4.99, Monaco for $2.54, and the absurdly good Gunpoint for $2.49. That’s not even the tip of the iceberg, so be sure to check it out. The Daily Deal is Not A Hero, which is on sale for $6.49, or you can get the Megalord Edition for $9.99.

Pay $1 or more to unlock Strider, Resident Evil Revelations 2 – Episode 1: Penal Colony, Lost Planet 3, and Bionic Commando: Rearmed. I had an amazing weekend, Internet! I was the officiant at my sister’s wedding on Friday, and it was lovely. Then I took Saturday to do absolutely nothing at all. Anthony and I played some video games, listened to some podcasts, and just chilled out. We even watched a movie! Then we got back to work yesterday. I’m off from my day job today, so I got some more work done today as well. All in all, it’s been an amazing four-day weekend!

Speaking of amazing, you have less than 24 hours to pick up the Humble Indie Bundle 15! If you already love Gang Beasts, just go straight for the higher tiers that give you physical figures. Otherwise, pay the $10 to get the game and be awestruck!

Last night, we had a group of friends over to see if we could resurrect our old Blood Bowl board game league. It went really well, and afterwards, we played Codenames, which might be my favorite game right now. We went to bed late and I’m exhausted, but it was definitely worth it!

Today’s the day – Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is out! [Ed. Note: Nicole got a little overeager, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be out on October 9] I didn’t pick it up – I mean, I want to, don’t get me wrong, but I have so many games in my backlog that I can’t in good conscience do it. So, I’m just going to watch from afar and try to get through some of these other games so that maybe, just maybe, when it goes on sale, I can pick it up and not feel guilty. Ha! Yeah right.

Internet, I played so many games this weekend! We had a blind playtest at our place on Friday, which was followed by more games. Then we spent all day Saturday gaming. Finally, yesterday, in between working, Anthony and I cuddled under our heated blanket and played a lot of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. It was amazing!

It’s a miserable day here in Philadelphia! And the weekend is proving to be just as miserable. And yet no one has turned the heat on yet! I’ve got on two sweaters and a hoodie. Here’s hoping some gaming later will warm me right up!
