Steam‘s big sales today include The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for $2.99, Wasteland 2 for $19.99, and Lichdom Battlemage for $9.99. Over at the Humble Store, pick up Endless Legend for $23.32, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for $9.99, and Life of Pixel for $3.49.

Also over at Humble is a new Humble Weekly Bundle. Pay what you want for Muri, Ittle Dew, Imagine Me, and Bardbarian. Pay $6 or more to unlock Race the Sun, Drunken Robot Pornography, and Tiny Brains. Pay $15 or more to unlock King’s Bounty: Dark Side.

This is the last week of 2014. How are you going to spend it? Right now I’ve got tons of gaming planned, but I’m also cleaning, working on our Kickstarter for RESISTOR_, and experiencing some culture by doing things like going to magic shows. I’m trying to let 2014 go out as radly as possible.

Speaking of stuff that’s rad, let’s talk about deals. At Steam, you can get Don’t Starve for $3.74, The Stanley Parable for $4.49, and Battleblock Theater for $1.49, among many others.

That’s not all. Head to the Humble Store for even more sales. The Tomb Raider Collection is $15.99, and includes 11 games. You can also nab The Escapists for $9.99, early access to Vector Thrust for $9.74, and Sportsfriends for $13.49. That last one isn’t much of a deal, but trust me – that package is well worth it.

We had a pretty great Christmas yesterday, though I think Anthony is ready to murder me for the six new games I got. I also really want to use my Amazon points to buy a Wii U, which he is adamantly against. I’ll keep you posted, readers!

There are some great deals listed over at Kinja, like this Majora’s Mask for 3DS preorder – use code EMCWHHE53 to get the game for $34 (and a commenter pointed out that you can preorder it for $31.20 at Best Buy right now). They have lots of other game and tech deals there too, so you should check it out!

The PlayStation Network is having a Flash Sale as well, which lasts until 12/29. I think I might pick up the Tales from the Borderlands – Season Pass for $15.99, and The Walking Dead: Season Two for $6.25.

Of course, there are lots of sales at Steam today, like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for $7.49, Kerbal Space Program for $17.99, and Turbo Dismount for $3.39. And don’t forget about the Humble Store, where you can get early access to Nom Nom Galaxy for $4.99, as well as Wildstar for $19.99, and Little Inferno for $4.99.

Well, technically, it’s the day before Christmas, not the night. My vacation is in full swing, and I am really enjoying it – though I’m mostly doing a lot of cleaning and re-arranging, which feels amazing. Spring cleaning, eat your heart out! I’ve also been playing a lot of games, though – both on the table and off. I hope you’ve been getting in lots of gaming as well!

Steam‘s sale is still going strong. Right now, Terraria is $1.99, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is $7.49, and Plague Inc: Evolved is $10.04. There’s also The Evil Within for $20.39, Ultra Street Fighter IV for $17.99, and Far Cry 4 for $47.99, if you’re looking for some games that are a little more recent.

I went outside for a little while today to go downtown for an appointment, and wow! This city is in full-on shopping mode. There were people everywhere – walking around, going in and out of stores, clogging the streets. There was so much traffic! But now I’m home, getting ready to do more chores and play more games. Yay!

Speaking of games, let’s talk about today’s deals. Over at Steam, games like Scribblenauts Unlimited and Goat Simulator are $4.99, while BioShock Infinite and Payday 2 are 7.49. This doesn’t include the 12 hours deals, like Spelunky for $2.99, Darksiders II for $4.49, and Murdered: Soul Suspect for $7.49.

They’re still dropping deals at the Humble Store, too. Grab the Alan Wake Franchise for $3.99, Planetary Annihilation for $10.19, and Final Fantasy VIII for $5.99.

So far, my vacation has been pretty awesome! I have played a ton of board and video games, slept a lot, ate even more, and today I spent a lot of time getting some cleaning and writing done. All in all, it’s been exactly what I’d hope it would be: both relaxing and productive.

I might not stay so productive if I give into this Steam sale, though. There are so many great games to choose from! You should definitely pick up Tabletop Simulator for $8.99, as well as Papers, Please for $2.49, and Mount Your Friends for $1.99. But don’t forget about Saints Row IV for $4.99, The Walking Dead Season 2 for $6.24, and Outlast for $4.99.

I’m starting to really get excited about the holidays – my vacation begins at 5pm today. I plan on playing a lot of video games, finishing up our Kickstarter, cleaning the apartment, and seeing most of the people I love. What are you doing over the winter break, reader?
