Daily Scoop: March 5, 2014 – Humpday already
It’s the middle of the week, which means it’s getting closer to the weekend! I hear the weather is going to be beautiful, which means I might even try to spend some time outside. Or maybe I’ll just open the windows while I play games inside. That’s pretty close to going out, right?
There are a few deals happening at Amazon. You can pick up Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag for $29.99, Killzone: Shadow Fall for $39.99, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII for $49.99.
Steam has some deals as well. Their Midweek Madness deal right now is The Walking Dead: Season 2 for $16.74. The Daily Deal is Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Rise of the Owlverlord for $1.24. Scoop ’em up!

Daily Scoop: March 4, 2014 – New Humble Bundle
It’s time for a brand new Humble Bundle already! This one is called the Humble Mobile Bundle 4. Pay what you want for Catan, Vector, Riptide GP2, and Zombie Gunship; pay more than the average to unlock BADLAND Premium and Breach & Clear. There are some new deals in the Humble Store as well – you can get Tower of Guns for $9.99, Retro Game Crunch for $11.99, and Shadowgrounds for $0.69.
The Midweek Madness at Steam is The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing for $5.09, and the Daily Deal is Puddle for $3.39. Also, it’s the last day to get the latest Indie Royale, the Pancake Bundle. Beat the current minimum to get Gentlemen!, Survivor Squad, Eleusis, Gimbal, Talisman Prologue, Bad Hotel, and Entropy.
There are only two t-shirts today, but they’re amazing.
Daily Scoop: March 3, 2014 – More snow
Another day, another foot of snow here in Philadelphia! The cold weather is perfect for video game-playing. What games do you like to play when you’re snowed in?
There are a few digital deals happening today, if you need some games. Receiver is the Daily Deal at Steam, on sale for $1.69. There are also some deals happening at the Humble Store – you can pre-order Luftrausers for $8.99, or get Trine and Trine 2 for $0.99 and $2.99, respectively.
Don’t forget, you’ve still got time to get in on the Humble Indie Bundle 11 as well. Pay what you want for Guacamelee! Gold Edition, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, and The Swapper. Daily Scoop: February 28, 2014 – It’s finally Friday!
It’s Friday at last! What are you doing to be doing all weekend? Anthony Amato and I are finally going to play some Dungeons & Dragons after a hiatus of something like four months. It should be fun! I’m looking forward to that, and sleeping. Oh, the sleeping I’ll do.
Let’s talk about deals, shall we? There are lots of sales happening at the Humble Store. You can get Shadowrun Returns for $14.99, Planetary Annihilation for $29.99, Waking Mars for $1.99, and Power-Up for $2.39, among others. Other than that, all you’ve really got is the Daily Deal over at Steam, which is Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution for $7.49. Scoop ’em up!

Another week, another set of great bundles! There’s a new Humble Weekly Bundle, and it’s all about simulators! Pay what you want for Bridge Project, Trainz Simulator 12, Euro Truck Simulator, and Wildlife Park 3. Pay $6 or more to unlock Agricultural Simulator 2013, Agricultural Simulator: Historical Farming, and Pool Nation.
There’s also a new bundle, The Pancake Bundle, over at Indie Royale. Pay more than the average for Gentlemen!, Survivor Squad, Eleusis, Gimbal, Talisman Prologue, and Bad Hotel. Pay $8 or more to unlock a bonus album from Dubmood.
Steam’s got some new deals as well, starting with their Daily Deal, which is Mass Effect 2 for $4.99. They’ve also got two new Weekend Deals: the Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army Bundle is $6.24, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst is $23.99.

The guys over at Threaks have been busy! Not only is Beatbuddy coming to tablets and consoles, it’s also been added to the Humble Indie Bundle 11! Pay what you want for Guacamelee! Gold Edition, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, and The Swapper. Pay more than the average for Antichamber, Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine, Fez, Starseed Pilgrim, and Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians. This was a steal before, but now it’s an absolute must-buy!
Today’s Daily Deal over at Steam is Red Faction Guerrilla, which has been marked down to $4.99. Oh, and If you were looking for something to get me for my birthday, you could buy me this bad boy, though I’m afraid I exceed the weight capacity.

Daily Scoop: February 25, 2014 – Nintendo eShop cards on sale
It’s Tuesday again, which means game release day! Today marks the release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, as well as the new Professor Layton game. Too bad I’m nowhere near caught up enough in either series to be that far along!
But at least there’s one thing I’m caught up in, and that’s deals. Best Buy is having a pretty great sale right now – they’re offering 20% off prepaid Nintendo eShop cards. If there are some digital games you’ve been looking to download to your Nintendo systems, this is a really great way to save yourself some money doing it!
As usual, there are some new deals over at Steam. The Midweek Madness deals are on RPG Maker VX Ace (marked down to $17.49) and State of Decay (marked down to $9.99). Their Daily Deal is on Strike Suit Zero, which is $9.99.

Daily Scoop: February 24, 2014 – Lots of digital deals
I spent the weekend alternating between writing and gaming. Anthony Amato and I have been playing a ton of Torchlight II recently, which we’ve been having a blast with. What game fills your weekends?
