Xbox Store Today: Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind, Perception, Guardians of the Galaxy Episode 2, more
It’s Wednesday and another big day is in store for Microsoft’s Xbox Games Store…
First up, Bethesda is relaunching The Elder Scrolls Online with its latest expansion, The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind. Players will return to the island of Vvardenfell on the Xbox One to save it from a “deadly Daedric threat” and battle other players in the Ashlands in a 4v4v4 arena-style environment.
Also available to download today for the Xbox One is Perception from The Deep End Games. Perception is a narrative-driven adventure game where players take control of Cassie, a blind woman with a supernatural connection to a haunted mansion. After the nightmares become too much, Cassie goes to the mansion to discover what mysteries live within its walls.
Elsewhere on the Xbox Games Store, Telltale Games has continued their Guardians of the Galaxy series with Episode 2: Under Pressure. Xbox One owners will be able to explore Rocket’s past while also receiving help from “dubious old friends and unwilling new allies.”
Finally today, Codemasters will release Dirt 4 for the Xbox One, and off-road racing fans will get to tackle new rally, rallycross, and landrush events.

Wipeout Omega Collection, Perception, Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind, more added to PS Store this week
The PlayStation Store is racing for the future with this week’s update…
First up is the Wipeout: Omega Collection, a new PS4 compilation featuring the last two games in the series. The futuristic racing franchise may have faded away in 2012, but Sony is hoping that fans will want to replay Wipeout HD, its Fury expansion, and Wipeout 2048 one more time with enhanced graphics and sound.
Also available to download this week is a different kind of racing game from Codemasters. The publisher has relaunched its off-road racing series with Dirt 4 for the PS4. Including more than 50 vehicles and an almost unlimited number of routes, Dirt 4 will keep fans busy for quite a while. And speaking of dedicated fans, Bethesda is returning to the island of Vvardenfell for new adventures in The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind for the PS4.
Finally this week, PS4 players will get the chance to download the Diablo-like Victor Vran and Perception, a first-person narrative adventure created by a team of developers who previously worked on BioShock and Dead Space. Telltale will also launch Guardians of the Galaxy – Episode 2: Under Pressure, the newest episode in their Marvel adaptation.
You can learn more about all of these games (and nearly a dozen other new releases) after the break. (more…)

Dirt 4 will race onto the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on June 6
Codemasters connected with their sizable fanbase offer incremental updates to Dirt Rally through the Early Access platform back in 2015. But they’re taking a more direct route with the upcoming Dirt 4, and have announced plans to release it for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on June 6.
According to the developer, their plan for Dirt 4 is to “combine the levels of thrill and realism” from Dirt Rally with the “fearless excitement, accessibility, and adrenalin-fueled contests” from 2009’s Dirt 2 and 2011’s Dirt 3. Part of this plan includes an all-new track creation system known as Your Stage:
Dirt 4 sports an all-new system called Your Stage, an innovative rally route creation tool that allows you to produce a near infinite number of unique stages at the touch of a button. Choosing your location and setting the route parameters, Your Stage does the hard work to create a unique rally stage that you can race, share with your friends and then challenge them to beat your time. Your Stage allows experienced rally players to create longer, more technical routes, whilst newcomers can create simpler shorter routes as they hone their skills.
Codemasters also plans to pack Dirt 4 with a number of new and returning features that are sure to impress rally racing fans the world over:
