All Articles: Duke Nukem Forever
Come get the Duke Nukem Forever launch trailer
The man may have stolen all of Ash’s catchphrases, but Duke Nukem is still one of the biggest badasses in video games. And After 14 years, he plans to prove it on June 14 when Duke Nukem Forever is released for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. 2K Games wants to get gamers excited for that momentous date by unveiling the game’s launch trailer. It’s hilariously NOT SAFE FOR WORK, but it’s also hilariously awesome too.
I’d hit it too, Duke, I’d hit it too.
Hell freezes: Duke Nukem Forever has actually gone gold
No more delays, Duke Nukem Forever is finally being printed on discs and making its way to retailers for its June 14 launch date on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The 14-year development history of the game itself across four development studios has been an odyssey in itself, and this no doubt marks a monumental day for gaming. Original Creative Director at 3D Realms, George Broussard, had these inspiring words to share:
Duke Nukem Forever and its journey to store shelves is legendary. It’s an epic tale of four game development studios that banded together and did the unthinkable and shipped the unshippable. When you play this game you will be reminded of that epic journey at every turn and in every small detail of the game. The character, attitude, interactivity, gameplay and political incorrectness combine to make a Duke Nukem game a unique gaming experience. In the timeless words of Duke Nukem it’s finally time to ‘Come Get Some’. Come be a part of gaming history.
Duke Nukem battles topless babes in strip shooting webgame
Stay classy Duke!
The official European site for Duke Nukem Forever has added a new Flash game to keep your trigger finger busy while it waits for the real thing. Loading up “Duke Nudem” at boob-tube.eu will pit gamers against four of Duke’s babes in a round of strip target practice. If Duke wins, the girls get naked. But if the girls win, Duke introduces them to his gun. In other words… Duke always wins.
Putting up a better score than the babes is not as easy you’d think. Vicky Vixen (and her MP5), Blastin’ Jo (who’s packing a heavy-duty shotgun), Deadeye Stacy (sporting an AK-47) and Rifle Rosie (with her M-16) are all crack shots and the Duke will go down in defeat a lot. So you’ll have to practice, practice, practice until you can outlast the babes. Good luck, Duke.
Duke Nukem Forever will finally be released for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on June 14.

Duke Nukem Forever system requirements announced
Today, on the Gearbox Forums, the system requirements for Duke Nukem Forever were announced. The game will hit store shelves June 14 after a very long and infamous development process. For those who are unaware, the title was originally revealed in April 1997, and has jumped from three developers and four publishers in its 14 years of development.
The current requirements are likely quite different than what 3D Realms would have asked of your PC back in the late 90s, but you can find them after the break. (more…)

Duke Nukem conquers comic books this July
Do you really need to drop a deuce and you’re all out of reading material? Well, Duke Nukem is coming to the rescue (even if you’re not a hot babe).
The star of Duke Nukem Forever will headline IDW Publishing’s newest comic book series, Duke Nukem: Glorious Bastard, starting in July. The series will be written by Tom Waltz (The A-Team: Shotgun Wedding) and IDW promises it’ll include “all the game’s trademark humor and over-the-top violence.”
It’s currently unknown if feces flinging will make it into the comic book as a representation of the game’s “trademark humor.”
