Learn how to become an atomic ninja with Agility in Fallout 4’s latest S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video
“Following total atomic annihilation, the rebuilding of this great nation of ours may fall to you. Study these materials carefully to ensure your survival and to discover what makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.”
While ninjas are most commonly associated with feudal Japan, Bethesda believes they’ll also have a place in a post-apocalyptic Wasteland. In the latest video from their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. series, the game publisher wants to educate players on the many ways that Agility can make you like a ninja in Fallout 4…
Agility lets you dodge bullets! Agility gives you better aim when you’re under pressure! And Agility even grants you the ability to sneak up on unsuspecting mutants in the dark! But remember, a truly agile person will know that a pack of monsters might be even more agile. Not just anyone can snatch all the bells from the dummy.
Fallout 4 will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10.
Fallout 4’s system requirements ask if your PC/console is prepared for the apocalypse
We’re t-minus 29 days until the launch of Fallout 4, and Bethesda wants to ensure that your PC and/or console is up to spec for the post-apocalypse that’ll follow. So without further adieu, your PC must be exactly this powerful to ride Bethesda’s latest atomic bomb like Slim Pickens in Dr. Strangelove:

If you’d prefer to play Fallout 4 on the PS4 or Xbox One, you might want to know that the game’s installation process will require 28-35 GB of hard drive space. Fallout 4 will offer a number of different language options throughout the world and players in North America will likely fall on the lower end of that spectrum as the game only needs to support English and French. However, most European territories will support English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, which necessitates a larger install size.
Whichever platform you use to play Fallout 4, it’ll be available on November 10… except if you’re located in Asia (where it’ll be released on November 11) or Japan (which has to wait until December 17).
Are you smart enough to watch Fallout 4’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video on Intelligence?
“Following total atomic annihilation, the rebuilding of this great nation of ours may fall to you. Study these materials carefully to ensure your survival and to discover what makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.”
Bethesda has offered another lesson in surviving Fallout 4‘s Wasteland with the release of another entry in their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. series of educational videos. This time, the big brains at Vault-Tec have focused on Intelligence and the importance of a math. For example, did you know that “Imagination” plus “Science” equals “A Four-Barreled Shotgun that Shoots Nuclear Bombs”? It’s true!
At this point, I’m pretty convinced that all those Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons from the 50s secretly take place in the Wasteland. Acme is clearly just a front company for Vault-Tec!
Fallout 4 will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10.
Charisma makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L. in newest Fallout 4 educational video from Bethesda
“Following total atomic annihilation, the rebuilding of this great nation of ours may fall to you. Study these materials carefully to ensure your survival and to discover what makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.”
Believe it or not, but the newest entry in Bethesda’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. series of educational videos for Fallout 4 proves that the spirit of Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli is alive in the Wasteland. In Charisma, players are encouraged to get others on their side with a very Fonzie-esque double thumbs up and an “Ayyy!” Naturally, it works. But it makes you wonder, are there jukeboxes to slap into shape in the future?
Astute Vault-Tec students will also learn that Charisma is great for making friends… even with that mutant bear that wants to eat your face off. Make sure he gets plenty of exercise, Vault Boy!
Fallout 4 will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10.
Endure the latest video in Fallout 4’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. series… E for Endurance
“Following total atomic annihilation, the rebuilding of this great nation of ours may fall to you. Study these materials carefully to ensure your survival and to discover what makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.”
Betehsda is back with another educational look at the traits necessary to survive in Fallout 4‘s harsh Wasteland. This time, the publisher has decided to focus on the benefits of Endurance… which apparently leads to a lot of cannibalism and a few run-ins with rampaging mutant crabs.
Fallout 4 will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10. And tune in next week… Same Vault-Time, Same Vault-Channel… for Charisma, the next entry in the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video series.
P (for Perception) is the second video in Fallout 4’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. series
“Following total atomic annihilation, the rebuilding of this great nation of ours may fall to you. Study these materials carefully to ensure your survival and to discover what makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.”
Fallout 4 is just around the corner and Bethesda Softworks wants to continue their education of prospective vault dwellers with the second entry in their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video series… Perception. By focusing on the importance of Perception, players will be able to master the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System (VATS), which helps them analyze their opponents and pinpoint areas of weakness. It’s a powerful tool, but like the announcer man says, don’t get too cocky!
Fallout 4 will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10.
Prepare for Fallout 4 with a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. instructional video series… S is for Strength
“Following total atomic annihilation, the rebuilding of this great nation of ours may fall to you. Study these materials carefully to ensure your survival and to discover what makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.”
Bethesda has always made great use of the Fallout franchise’s retro-futuristic aesthetic, and the first entry in a new series of 1950s-inspired educational videos for Fallout 4 is just the latest bit of proof. The S.P.E.C.I.A.L. series serves as a handy tutorial to give players all the skills they’ll need to survive in The Wasteland. These attributes (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck) will play an important part in the game… especially if you don’t want to be killed horribly by a marauding mutant or deranged survivor.
Proudly produced by Vault-Tec (the in-universe company that created Fallout’s many Vaults), the video for “Strength” has been embedded above. Fallout 4 will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10.
Leakers have uploaded a video of Fallout 4’s Gamescom demo to Pornhub
The exclusive Fallout 4 demo shown off at Gamescom this year hasn’t yet found its way online through Bethesda’s official channels. This has left fans who weren’t able to attend the show justifiably angry. And they’re so angry that they’re willing to go to the most unlikeliest of places to view some of the footage.
It’s not YouTube or Vimeo or Vine… It’s actually Pornhub, so let’s try to keep this somewhat professional.
The seven-minute video, and yes it really is footage from Fallout 4’s Gamescom demo, is titled “Hidden Camera Shows Audience Teased by Big Butt Man in Tights Live.” It’s not great footage, even as far as leaks go. Befitting its title, the person in the audience is clearly holding up their camera to the screen, trying desperately not to be seen. The video that’s been uploaded is grainy, shaky, and most of the time the camera is positioned between two people seated in front of the cameraman, which obscures most of the screen.
What we can see of the video though is a full, unedited playthrough of what appears to be this game’s version of the Super Duper Mart. We also see the dog in action, as well as the new shooting mechanics.
We also see ghouls for the first time, which have been completely redesigned. They now move and act like zombies. You can shoot off their arms and they’ll lunge forward to bite, or you can shoot off their legs and they’ll still crawl after you. Unfortunately, once they do reach you, it seems they still just stand there and swipe at you until you kill them. I would have liked to have seen close quarters combat become more dynamic, maybe have them latch on to you, like the “Blood Bugs” shown off in the E3 trailer.
Also, for better or worse, the lockpicking and terminal hacking minigames haven’t changed in the slightest. They’re still exactly the same as they were in Fallout 3.
That’s about all I can ascertain from this short leak. Apparently, the demo was longer, and (believe it or not) there weren’t two guys blocking most of the video. But those of us who didn’t get to see the demo firsthand might never find out, as Bethesda still hasn’t officially released Fallout 4’s Quakecon demo either.
Here’s the link to the video…
…but be warned, the site ISN’T SUITABLE IN THE LEAST FOR WORK OR PUBLIC VIEWING. Unless that’s what you’re in to, which is fine. I would have made a porn joke at some point, but I’m afraid it would have sucked.
