Hyper Light Drifter (PS4) is an overhead action RPG from Heart Machine with a uniquely “glitched” retro style. Meanwhile, Tumblestone (PS4) is a multiplayer match-3 puzzler that also includes a massive Story Mode. And Mutant Mudds Super Challenge (PS4 + PS Vita Cross-Buy) is a challenging side-scroller from Renegade Kid.
Looking to new games we’ve seen before, Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force (PS4) is a remastered re-release of an RPG from the PS3 era. And previously available for the PS3, Activision re-released the superhero team-ups Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 for the PS4 this week as standalone downloads and a two-game bundle.
Finally this week, Telltale continues their Minecraft: Story Mode with Episode 7: Access Denied on the PS4 and PS3. This time, Jesse and friends challenge an AI that’s run amok.

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge Review: Dirty Deeds
When one hears the word “bully,” the archetypal image that usually comes to mind is that of a hulking brute. A dimwitted, slack-jawed, pit-stained-t-shirt-wearing oaf that couldn’t tell what a rhombus is, let alone be able to spell it. Not often do you hear of the nerdy kid with glasses being the jerk in the bunch. But I tell you this – I got my ass kicked by this bespectacled geek more times than I would by any bully. And these were brutal beatings, causing me great pain, uncompromising fury, and the occasional tear. Cruelly mocking me with every blow. Unrelenting. But you know what? I was totally cool with it. Nintendo Download: Pokken Tournament, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, more
Are you ready to fight ’em all?
Nintendo and Bandai Namco have teamed up to finally release Pokken Tournament for the Wii U this week. The fighting game will feature dozens of different Pokemon characters and it’ll be available to download through the Wii U eShop on Friday, March 18.
Also coming soon is Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the latest Olympic-themed crossover clash for the two video game mascots. It’ll be available for the Wii U later this year, but 3DS owners can go for the Gold Medal this Friday.
Finally this week, Renegade Kid has launched Mutant Mudds Supper Challenge for the Wii U and 3DS. The “dimension-defying platformer” is available as a cross-buy purchase on both platforms, so you can take on the platforming challenges and boss battles at home or on the go.

Download playable demos for upcoming Wii U “Nindies” all this week
While very few civilians get to attend the E3 Expo, Nintendo is doing their best to bring the big show to their fans.
In addition to the Super Mario Maker demo kiosks that will be available at Best Buy this week, Nintendo has also made demos of nine upcoming “Nindies” available to download through the Wii U eShop.
Here’s a complete rundown of all nine games, many of which qualified for our Best of PAX East 2015 list:
Extreme Exorcism

In this paranormal Wii U platformer, every move players make comes back to haunt them. After each round players survive, a ghost will appear to mimic their every move from the round before. The demos are available to download now, but act fast, they’ll be pulled from the Wii U eShop on Monday, June 22 at 12:00 PM (Eastern Time). Wii U owners will also receive a 15% discount on the full version of any demo they download when its released later this year.
