2K announces a “Cena (Nuff) Edition” for WWE 2K18
Whether you love him or hate him, 2K Games has announced that a special Cena (Nuff) Edition of WWE 2K18 will celebrate the career of John Cena this Fall. Priced at $149.99, and limited to 30,000 copies worldwide, the Cena (Nuff) Edition will be available exclusively for the PS4 and Xbox One (apologizes to the Switch owners in the audience).
According to the publisher, the Cena (Nuff) Edition contains “an impressive collection of exclusive memorabilia and in-game content” for WWE fans:

- WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition, which includes the following items:
- WWE 2K18 Season Pass: Details announced this Fall.
- Playable WWE Legends and John Cena Rivals: Batista and Rob Van Dam.
- Playable John Cena Characters: ECW One Night Stand (2006) and WrestleMania 26 (2010).
- Kurt Angle Pack: Access to WWE “American Hero” (2001) and ECW “Wrestling Machine” (2006) playable characters.
- Exclusive Premium Packaging: Includes a unique cover sleeve.
- Exclusive Mattel John Cena / Cena Nuff Action Figure: Featuring Cena and Cena (Nuff) T-shirt options.
- Fanatics Limited Edition Commemorative Plaque: With a piece of the ring mat from his 16th WWE Championship at Royal Rumble earlier this year, as well as a hand-signed photo from John Cena.

The Cena (Nuff) Edition will also include Early Access to WWE 2K18, and fans who opt for the pricey collector’s edition (or the slightly cheaper Deluxe Edition) will be able to begin playing the wrestling simulation on October 13. Players who wish to purchase the Standard Edition will have to wait until October 17 to obtain their copy of the game.

WWE 2K18 is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch this Fall
Coverboy Seth Rollins has confirmed that WWE 2K18 is also coming to the Nintendo Switch in the video embedded above. Nintendo fans who pre-order the game will receive Kurt Angle as a pre-order bonus, but as of right now, the Switch version of WWE 2K18 is officially scheduled for a “Fall 2017” release. That means it could launch alongside the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game on October 17, or it could be available sometime later.

WWE 2K18’s cover will feature wrestler Seth Rollins
This year’s “Hey, You Know E3 Was Last Week, Right?” Award goes to 2K Games, who inexplicably announced a handful of details about WWE 2K18 today… including the reveal of cover athlete Seth Rollins.
“As the WWE 2K18 cover Superstar and franchise ambassador, it is my incredible honor and mission to ensure this game will truly BE LIKE NO ONE – a calling card perfect for everything I stand for – as it sets forth on its own unique path,” said Rollins. “Following in the footsteps of other WWE 2K cover Superstars – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Brock Lesnar – I now carry the torch and proudly represent a new generation of WWE Superstars. I am the future, and the future can’t be stopped.”
2K Games announced that WWE 2K18 will also be released in a special Collector’s Edition, as well as a feature-packed Deluxe Edition. Details about the Collector’s Edition will be released at a later date, but the Deluxe Edition will include exclusive packaging, the Season Pass, and to-be-announced in-game content available at launch.
WWE 2K18 will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One on October 17. But players who purchase the Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition will receive their copy of the game four days early on Friday, October 13.
2K Games officially announces a Fall 2017 release for WWE 2K18
Take-Two Interactive and 2K Games announced that WWE 2K18 is officially in development during this morning’s quarterly financial report.
Aside from a Fall 2017 release window and the promise that it’ll appear on “TBA” platforms (though the PS4 and Xbox One seem like a certainty), 2K Games also unveiled the game’s logo, which has been embedded above.
